Today, a beautiful trail has been inaugurated at Athakai in honor of the Lebanese poet Khalil Gibran (1883-1931), commemorating his most important and famous book, "The Prophet." Along the southern staircase, or Chirlobirlo trail, you can read a beautiful excerpt from the chapter dedicated to Marriage, which says: "and let the winds of the heavens dance between you. Love one another, but do not make love a binding. Let it be, rather, a moving sea between the shores of your souls. Fill each other's cups, but do not drink from one cup alone. The strings of a lute are alone, even though they quiver with the same music." Athakai is known for its social support programs, protection of local flora and fauna, and strong emphasis on personal and cultural development.
